I'm Richard Budden, I live in Dubai and this is my blog.  Either you've stumbled across this page when looking for something else, or you know me, but either way I hope you enjoy what you find.

Originally from the UK, I moved to Dubai in 2011.  This blog started out as a way to keep in touch with people back home and let them know what I was up to whilst away.  At that time I was only planning on staying a year or so - that was three and a half years ago.  A pretty common story out here it seems.  Having lived in Dubai, Qatar and now Dubai again, and having done a bit of travelling in between, this blog still serves it's original purpose and is also a way to share some experiences and photos with anyone who might be interested.

I will no doubt look back on all this in the future and think: well that was damn good fun.
