Back at the airport

More travelling around the Gulf this week... I'm currently at Dubai Airport awaiting a flight to Bahrain. I've not been before and in fact it's the last of the more typical Gulf countries that I've not visited yet (assuming you don't count Iran, Iraq or Saudi Arabia, although there is a good chance I could end up visiting the latter at some stage...). It probably ranks second after Dubai in terms of desirable Middle East locations to work in so it will be good to see it, although I'm only there for a couple of days. Our office is in the wind-turbined World Trade Centre which from the photos at least looks pretty impressive.
Following that I'm heading to Kuwait City again on Wednesday morning, somewhere that is definitely further down the list of desirable locations, but no less interesting.
Back to Dubai on Thursday evening and then off to Abu Dhabi on Friday to see Beady Eye at Yas Island which should be ace, so a busy week ahead...
