All change

All change this week as I finished my job with my previous employer after 12 years, two weeks and three days.  After such a long time it was strange to be walking out the door for the final time.  I've had some great experiences and have a lot of fond memories, not least of the colleagues and friends that I made in the 8 and a bit years in the UK and nearly four in the Middle East.  When I first moved to Dubai I never envisaged staying this long here, let alone moving to Qatar and back, nor starting an entirely new job!  It's definitely the right move for me though and I feel excited and privileged to be joining my new employer, where I start on 1st December.
